Contact Management, Segmentation, and Smart Import
|

Hey there š
February was all about giving you better control over your audience. We shipped a complete contact management system, tag-based segmentation, and a smart CSV importer that handles messy data gracefully. Here's what's new and how to use it.

Unified Contact Management
Your contacts are no longer just a subscriber list ā they're a full CRM. Each contact now has a detailed profile showing their subscription history, engagement metrics, tags, and source. You can add notes, track interactions, and see exactly how each person engages with your content over time. The new tag system lets you organize contacts however you want: by interest, by lead score, by acquisition channel, or anything else. Tags can be applied manually, via CSV import, or automatically based on behavior (e.g., 'highly-engaged' for contacts who open 80%+ of your editions). Use tags to create segments for targeted sending.

Key takeaway
Coming next: automated welcome sequences triggered by tags, A/B testing for different segments, and send-time optimization per contact timezone. The segmentation engine is the foundation for all of these features.

Try Contact Management
Head to your Contacts tab to see the new interface. Import your existing list or start tagging your current subscribers.
